Deltaville Boatyard is proud to announce recognition as an authorized Böning distributor and service center. Highly selective in their partnerships, Böning accepted Deltaville Boatyard into the training program in mid-July for DBY’s reputation as diligent in quality repairs, customer service, and education. Three technicians attended the training program with Böning’s engineer, all receiving certification in August.
Engineered and designed in house, the ISO certified Böning ship automation systems are considered at the forefront of marine technology. The system is engineered to display integrated monitor, control, and alarm systems on multiple displays with visualizations such as a diagram of the vessel with system status, gauges, chart plotters, and more. Designed for vessels from 30 to 80 feet, the system can uniquely be scaled to meet vessel specifications and necessities and can also be integrated with products from other manufacturers. All data can be accessed on Apple devices for remote monitoring as well as text alarm messages directly to your phone for immediate review. As an authorized distributor and service center, Deltaville Boatyard’s technicians can both install and design a new system or repair and update an existing system.
“This technology is cutting edge.” says Keith Ruse, owner of Deltaville Boatyard, “We’re honored to partner with Böning to provide the most state-of-the-art multi-system control and monitoring technology to date in the marine industry to our clientele.”
Deltaville Boatyard and Böning are now partnering to expand knowledge and use of the automation system at the Annapolis U.S. Power Boat Show and Kadey Krogen Rendezvous in October 2019. The Böning system will be on an interactive display with assistance from both Deltaville Boatyard and Böning representatives. There will also be an educational discussion at the Kadey Krogen Rendezvous as well as engine room inspections completed by Ruse. At this time, over 5,000 yachts are equipped with the Böning system, with an outlook only to drastically increase in the coming years as manufacturers have started to add the system as a standard component. This is a major accomplishment for Deltaville Boatyard, who continues to set the trend in marine service and repairs.
